#ParisAttacks – New Young Turks calls for unity and fight against terrorism
France has faced horrific attacks from the terrorist organisation ISIS yesterday night; this follows less than a year after Charlie Hebdo. We express our heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families and loved ones. We stand in solidarity with all the people of France against violence, hatred and division.
Terrorist organisations like ISIS – which has recently carried out similar attacks before in Beirut and Ankara, always seek to harm innocent citizens of a country to gain attention and spread their threat. Terrorism – no matter where on earth – has to be targeted to eliminate more human crimes. For that reason the need for unity against terrorist groups is needed more today than ever before.

New Young Turks (NYT) is a non-partisan organisation working to build bridges between Turkey and the world through cultural events and political dialogue. Over the years we have developed a network of young students and professionals of Turkish backgrounds across Turkey, Europe and North America.
